We have five children under the age of sixteen years whose livelihood is being robbed from them. Three of these children belongs to a 65-year-old woman who was employed at Tropical Nights since the business was first established twenty-six years ago. Prior to starting this location, I asked her to quit her previous job and help me because she is a well experienced west Indian cook and it was more accommodating for her and the three young grand children at the time. Over the years she contributed so much to Tropical Nights. At the age of 65 she has been bringing up three grand children since they were babies, who are still under the age of sixteen; on her own without a mother or father in sight to help her. My business partner terminated her without any valid reasons, just because his wife does not like her. These people have so much going for them, I don’t understand how human it is for them to take away meals from the less fortunate.

My youngest son who is eight years old, I’m terrified for the future that may lay ahead for him. Due to my situation, he was one of the main reason why I was working so hard, not going on holidays and focusing on putting my all into Tropical Nights. I don’t want him and his siblings to receive nothing in the end after all the sacrifices the made for Tropical Nights. My self who is two years away from being a senior citizen and my little boy are living under conditions which I am not proud  to speak of in public. I did not do anything wrong to be in this position. As a matter of fact, many people will always say I am working too hard and they do no know how I m doing it; including my business partner's wife.
